Mrs. Caldwell is the Prek assistant foro Mrs. Barr. This is her first year at Mary Queen School after working as a substitute for Fayette County Schools. Mrs. Caldwell, a Lexington native, is married with two sons, who are 6 and 9. In her free time, she enjoys refinishing furniture and cross stitching. |

Mrs. Negron is from El Salvador and her first language is Spanish. This is her third year at MQHR School. Mrs. Negron has 10 years of experience working with children. She received her Kentucky Director's Credential as well as her CDA in 2013 from Morehead State University. She is considering going back to school to get a master's degree in Early Education. Her husband is from Puerto Rico and they have two beautiful children. Andy attends Lexington Catholic and Kamyla currently attending Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary. Mrs. Negron's favorite sport is soccer. |

Ms. Hancock - Pre-K Assistant - |
Ms. Hancock is the assistant teacher in PKB and also a lead teacher in the after school program. This is her first year at MQHR, but her second year teaching preschool. She attended Christ the King School for elementary school and Lexington Catholic for high school. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College in biology, and will be attending Morehead State University in the spring to pursue her Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. In her spare time she teaches the high school CCD program at Pax Christi. She also enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and hanging out with her cat, Mustard, and dog, Nova. |

Deirdre O’Dwyer is the PreK D teacher at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School. She has nine years of experience teaching in Catholic Schools. Mrs. O’Dwyer previously worked as a teaching assistant for preschool and early elementary classes. She received her CDA through Morehead State University and in May 2016 she completed her Catechist Certification through the Diocese of Lexington; she attends ongoing classes at the Child Care Council of Kentucky. In April 2016 through the University of Kentucky, Mrs. O’Dwyer was honored for “Teachers Who Made a Difference” award. She is passionate about children and is happy to teach at a school that supports the development of each student’s individual potential. Both Deirdre and her husband John hail from Ireland; they have two children, a junior in high school and a freshman in college. She is a CHRP member and involved in the Healing Blanket Ministry at MQHR parish. |

Kathy Hughes - PK3 Assistant |
Mrs. Hughes enjoys spending her day with preschool students at Mary Queen. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and recently a Child Development Associate credential. Mrs. Hughes and her husband have two children who are students at Mary Queen. She enjoys volunteering in the community and is grateful to be a part of the Mary Queen family.

Kathy Norton is the Pre-K 4B teacher at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School. She has over eight years of experience in the Pre-K classroom, all in a Catholic school setting. Mrs. Norton received her Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management from Eastern Kentucky University and her CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential for Pre-K.. She is currently working towards completion of her Catechist Certification through Aquinas College. Ms. Norton and her husband Darren have three amazing children; Nicholas, Rebecca and Emily. All three have graduated from MQHRS abd have gone onto Lexington Catholic HIgh School. Her oldest has graduated from Lexington Catholic and is currently attending EKU.

Ms. Graeff was born in Bogota, Colombia and educated in Colombia, USA,  Switzerland and Spain. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Law from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia. Marcela is a Berlitz trained Spanish instructor for children, teenagers and adults. She is currently pursuing her CDA (Child Development Associate). Marcela and her husband have a daughter currently attending Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary.

Mrs. Bodart has been a part of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish for over 15 years. She has been married for 28 years and has three daughters who have graduated from MQHR School and Lexington Catholic HIgh School. In 2003 she earned her CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential and has been a lead teacher since 2005. In 2016 she becamed a certified catechist through The Aquinas College Catechist Formation Program. Mrs. Bodart believed in a faith-based, academic environment, and Mary Queen has a unique balance that offers just that!. .

Mrs. Cawood is a graduate from Mary Queen, Lexington Catholic and the University of Kentucky. Her daughters are also graduates of MQHR School and Lexington Catholic High School. She has been assisting in the classroom since 2000, She has worked with pre-school, kindergarten, first grade and afterschool care. She feels blessed to be a part of the Mary Queen School and Parish.

Ms. Bayma is one of the kindergarten teachers at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School. She has taught preschool and worked with special education students but considers kindergarten her favorite grade to teach. Her favorite thing about kindergarten is how much growth you see in the students from August to May. She feels so blessed to serve on the kindergarten team with Mrs. Borsuk, Ms. Smith, and Mrs. Said. Ms. Bayma is a Lexington native who graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2012. Besides teaching she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family.

Mrs. Borsuk is the Kindergarten assistant for Ms. Baya. She has been at Mary Queen for 21 years, Mrs Borsuk's 3 adult children all went to Mary Queen, Lexington Catholic and the University of Kentucky. She is from the New York area and attended Catholic schools there. She hmoved here in 1989 and has been a parishioner ofMary Queen for 27 years..

Chelsea Smith is one of the kindergarten teachers at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary School. This is her second year of teaching. She was a long-term substitute teacher at MQHRS in the Spring of 2015. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. She is an alumnus of Lexington Catholic High School and Christ the King School. Ms. Smith enjoys playing soccer andspending time with her two nieces.
